Oyo APC leaders reject Ajimobi as National Deputy



Leaders of the Oyo state section of the All Progressive Congress (APC) over the three Senatorial Districts on Thursday approached the National head of the gathering, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu and the National Chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, to dismiss the assignment of previous Governor Abiola Ajimobi as Deputy National Chairman.

Speaking with journalists after an emergency meeting of the APC leaders across the three Senatorial districts in Ibadan , the spokesperson of the party leaders, Alhaji Fatai Ibikunle, called on the APC National leader to look outside the box by consulting party leaders in the state before arriving at a popular choice that will be acceptable to all.

He said ” Our determination is that our National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu should search for more youthful individuals who are more lively and clever instead of reusing the old wine in the new container.
