Aminu Waziri Tambuwal appealed to religious leaders to control their anger over rising insecurity in the country.

Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of Sokoto has appealed to religious leaders to relief and control their anger over rising insecurity in the country.

He further explained that they are angry because they have inadequate knowledge about what the President, Major General Mouhammadu Buhari, is doing to address insecurity in Nigeria .

The governor said this when the Coordinator of the North-West border drill Assistant Comptroller General of Customs, paid him a  call at the Government House,

He said, “I appealed to our religious leaders to kindly calm down their anger. Let us all support, and work with the president to enhance security in Nigeria.

“He also advice Mr President to  invite some of these religious leaders to a closed-door meeting, let them have an idea of what the federal government is doing.
